Lesley is truly incredible. Not only is she a dog whisperer, but she's a genuinely enjoyable person to spend time with. Our family of four has been working with Lesley since we first brought our puppy home. This is the first puppy for all of us, and Lesley has been educating us all along the way. She has a very clear knowledge of a dog's psychology and how we can all learn to relate to our dog on a deeper level and understand his way of learning and relating to us. We get very thorough notes after every session and very clear directions on how each member of our family can help move towards the collective goal of a well behaved adult dog! Not only do all the humans in our house love Lesley, but our dog truly cries with excitement every time he sees Lesley's face at the front door. If there was an option to give Lesley ten stars, we all would!

Training with Lesley was an absolute game changer for life with a new puppy! I initially reached out to Lesley for help with my 5-month-old Havanese’s excessive barking at strangers, but we ended up tackling so much more - including all things grooming, manners for brining him to my dog-friendly workplace, cute tricks just for fun, and tips for my senior dog, too! Lesley addressed the root cause of my pup’s behavior and even recruited her family members to help him overcome his fear of strangers. Lesley always had alternate ideas if one method wasn’t sticking. She answered all of my detailed questions and provided written debriefs after each session, with step-by-step instructions, links to awesome resources, and homework before our next session. She explained the science-backed “why” of how to train, which boosted my own confidence working with my dogs and gave me the skills to teach my pup new tricks effectively even after our time together. I learned just as much from our sessions as my pup did and I was incredibly impressed with the improvements I saw in my dog after just 4 weeks together! I will definitely be scheduling more sessions with Lesley in the future!

Our family came home with a three month old puppy and no clue where to start.  Boba is half Mastiff and half Husky so we knew we would be dealing with a large, energetic dog.   Lesley worked long and hard with our puppy and, more importantly, with our family training all of us so we could be responsible owners for Boba. She patiently showed us how to set expectations by explaining dog behavior and mindset while only using positive methods of reinforcement.   Even during our most frustrating moments, Lesley remained calm, positive, and always optimistic.  Now we have a 90 pound goofball who is gentle, polite, obedient and steals the hearts of everyone he meets!  I do not know how to put into words how grateful we are for Lesley and all that she has done for our family!

I am so thankful for Lesley and her amazing dog training. We adopted a 6 month old Rat Terrier that was in major need of some training and we were so lucky to come across Lesley. She is kind, patient, knowledgeable, and each session we saw huge progress with Cruz. Even though our dog has “graduated” from training, I still reach out to Lesley for as needed support and she has been so incredibly helpful. We will continue to always train with Lesley for any and all dogs we adopt along the way! She is a joy to work with.

Lesley was instrumental in helping us with our rescue dog, Nacho. She had really clear, tailored guidance for our challenges. In 8 sessions with her, my partner and I built so much more confidence and had more tools in our toolbox. We covered recall, how to avoid freezing on walks, "leave it", building a connection with our dog, how to tell if our dog is playing safely with other dogs, how to thoughtfully interact with strangers/dogs on walks, how to help Nacho decrease his anxiety and car sickness. We also became better pup parents, with Lesley's manageable homework assignments and encouragement for us to practice improving our own behaviors. I use Lesley's tips every single day. We couldn't recommend her enough!
